Koh Chang

In June I spent about one week on Koh Chang. This island is very close to Cambodia, and upon arriving here I already felt closer to home...

I stayed at such a lovely place called Jungle Garden in the little village of Bailan, and spend a lot of time here, just reading, drawing, drinking coffee and eating amazing noodle soup.

Koh Chang means elephant island, so of course I went to see some elephants... Caught by the moment I went, but looking back at the experience I could just as easily have been without...
I also went to see Cambodian Kids Care center. A place that looks after a children og the many Khmer migrant workers that is on the island. Help to raise a bit of money to the place thanks to generous donors from Denmark.

My home for 7 days at Jungle Garden

So nice and quiet.
